The Jaguar E-Type-inspired Lyonheart K is evidently, as the name states, inspired from the design of the 1960-70s Jaguar E-Type – an iconic and memorable two-seater car. Today’s sports car features many improvements, not only where design is concerned, but for performance and functionality as well. To begin with, this year’s Lyonheart K weighs merely 3,500 pounds thanks to aluminum used for the chassis and the carbon fiber body parts. Furthermore, the car will be available in two versions: coupe and convertible. Both models have those vintage lines and the racing style that Jaguar is so appreciated for.

Since vintage sports cars are among the most coveted vehicles for aficionados and collectors, now everyone has the opportunity to own a car looking like that, only today’s drivers also get to enjoy all the technological advancements and the comfort and safety that result from them. The Jaguar E-Type-inspired Lyonheart K is fitted with wire wheels, LED lighting in the front and the back, and enough chromed details to impress anyone. The look is finished by an interior that uses luxurious materials like wood, leather and polished aluminum. And if this doesn’t seem enough, anyone who purchases one of these limited edition cars can have the interior customized to the very last detail.

As for performance, the Jaguar E-Type-inspired Lyonheart K features a Cosworth 5.0-liter V8 engine that produces up to 575 horsepower. The six-speed automatic transmission was built by ZF, and the car can speed from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.9 seconds. Like we mentioned before, there will only be 250 units of the Lyonheart K, and while the car was basically created by a Swiss team, it will be completely manufactured in the UK and be sold at approximately $464,000 for the coupe and $484,000 for the convertible. All in all it’s clear this Jaguar will raise many more admirers.
